Pioneering the Next Generation of Brain-Computer Interfaces
About Brainsmart™
Brainsmart™ is a world-class pioneer in brain–computer interface (BCI) neurotherapeutics, developing minimally invasive neural interface devices that enable high-density, large-area brain signal decoding without craniotomy. Originating from the Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre (ABIC) – a joint initiative between HKU and Harvard University under the InnoHK Program – we combine world-class expertise in flexible electronics, semiconductor device engineering, and clinical neuroscience.
Our flagship technology, the Minimally Invasive μ-ECoG™ System, delivers epidural, flexible, MRI-compatible neural interfaces for applications in epilepsy surgery, stroke rehabilitation, speech decoding, and tumor treating fields (TTF). With successful large-animal validations and an ongoing FDA Q-Sub process, Brainsmart is now expanding to the U.S. (Silicon Valley) to build a world-leading team for engineering, clinical translation, and regulatory approval.
BCI Machine Learning Engineer
Silicon Valley, California, USA
We’re developing reliable, robust brain-computer interfaces based on EcoG. To bring these systems to life, we need a machine learning engineer to decode speech and movement from neural signals—in real time. You will focus on turning cutting-edge research into working systems, building models and software that operate reliably on high-dimensional brain data.
